1. Ezdra Mateo - SP (AAA)
Mateo is currently tearing up Triple A and is just waiting for the call to the show. The righthander has dominated the competition at every level since he was signed out of the Dominican. With the four plus pitches in his arsenal, he will be an ace for Pittsburgh for many years to come.
2. T.J. Torres - SS (AAA)
Torres is the rare baseball player who has 30 homer potential and the range and glove to remain at shortstop. His power and high OBP make him well-suited to bat in the 3 hole. He will be a fixture up the middle for the Partymen for the next decade.
3. Bert Throneberry - RP (AAA)
Throneberry is another part of the AAA juggernaut that will provide a bright future for the Partymen. He is a great power arm for the bullpen who has a devastating 4-seam fastball. If you can get a lead to him, he isn't likely to give it up.
4. Clayton Mullin - C (AAA)
Mullin has moved very quickly through the Pittsburgh organization since he was drafted 2 years ago. He was recently promoted to AAA after dominating the AA level for the first half of the season. He must continue to improve his pitch calling in order to become a truly great player.
5. Pasqual Henriquez - SP (LoA)
Since being drafted in the 1st round of last season's amateur draft, this 19 year old has shown why the scouts were so high on him before the draft. He flashes two plus pitches and two additional pitches that are slightly above average, which really keeps the hitters guessing. His projected pinpoint control will only make it that much harder for the batters to do much damage against him.
6. Vinny Suzuki - LF (RL)
Signed this season as an IFA, Suzuki is already displaying his tremendous power potential via his .689 slugging percentage. While he is very young and likely has a few more seasons before he is ready for the big leagues, his power will make him a dominating clean-up hitter for the Partymen.
7. Vic Armas - 1B (LoA)
Armas is a hitting machine. He has a tremendous batting eye, which can be seen by the .472 OBP that he has put together in his brief career. While Armas' defensive ability will keep him at 1B, he will be a tremendous middle of the order hitter for many years to come.
