Weekly Rankings - Week 2

1. Los Angeles Hollywoods (29-12) Prev #8 - LA jumps 7 spots to become the top team in the world. They went an NL best 15-5 on the week and have won 5 straight games against Houston and former #1 Chicago. They own the NL's best expected win percentage and run rifferential and are 9th in Batting, 2nd in Pitching, and 7th in Fielding. Run differential +74

2. Jacksonville Timucuan's (30-11) Prev #4 - And the top AL team is the Timucuan's. They were 15-5 on the week, with sweeps of St. Louis and Salem. They are also owners of the best record in the world. Jax is 13th in Batting, 6th in Pitching, and 4th in Fielding. Run differential +58

3. Boston Tea Partiers (29-12) Prev NR - Boston rockets into the top 5 with a world best 16-4 record for the week, with sweeps of Cincinnati, New Orleans, and Scottsdale. They are 4th in Batting, 10th in Pitching, and 1st in Fielding. Run differential +56

4. Montreal Garde Imperiale (26-15) Prev #3 - Montreal continues to own the best expected win percentage and run differential in the world, and it won't be long before they are at the top of the standings. They won series vs. New Orleans, Boston, and Philadelphia. They are 5th in Batting, 4th in Pitching, and 6th in Fielding. Run differential +86

5. Memphis Blue's (29-12) Prev #6 - The Blue's climb a spot on the strength of a 14-6 week that saw them take 2 of 3 from LA and Buffalo and sweep former #1 Chicago. This team appears to be for real. They are relying on a pitching (#1) and defense (#2) to make up for a suspect offensive unit. Run differential +42

6. Philadelphia Bacharach Giants (27-14) Prev #5 - An 11-9 week sees the BeeGees trade places with the Blue's. They lost series to NO, Montreal, and Salem, but have rebounded recently. They are 6th in Batting, 8th in Pitching, and 12th in Fielding. Run differential +46

7. Chicago Black Sox (25-16) Prev #1 - The Sox come back to earth with a very disappointing 10-10 week. They are on a 5 game losing streak (Memphis and LA) and will need to right the ship with 21 of their next 27 games against LA, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia, and Durham. They are 3rd in Batting, 11th in Pitching, and close to last in Fielding. Run differential +47

8. New Orleans Causeway Cajuns (25-16) Prev NR - A 13-7 week sees the Double C's into the Top 10 for the first time this season. They offset a sweep at the hands of Boston with sweeps of Philly and Santa Cruz. They will be tested soon with a 19 game stretch against Philly, Cincy, Durham, Houston, and Memphis. They are 9th in Batting, 5th in Pitching, and 5th in Fielding. Run Differential +41

9. Durham Tar Heels (24-17) Prev NR - A strong 14-6 week sees Durham into the Top 10. They won 5 of 6 series, with the only loss at the hands of Jacksonville. They are 2nd in runs scored, below average in pitching, and 11th in Fielding. Run differential +37

10. Buffalo Bisons (26-15) Prev #2 - Buffalo is the big dropper this week, going 11-9. They lost or split 4 out of 5 series. They are below average in batting, 3rd in pitching, and below average in fielding. Run differential +29
