Weekly Rankings - Week 3

1. Cincinnati Redlegs (37-23) Prev #6 - The Redlegs own the best expected win percentage and run differential in the world. They are 4th in batting, above average in pitching, and 7th in fielding. Run differential +105

2. Dover Red Stockings (37-23) Prev NR - The Red Stockings own the best run differential in the NL. They are 29-11 over the past two weeks. They are 5th in batting, 4th in pitching, and 7th in fielding. Run diffeential +81

3. Durham Tar Heels (34-27) Prev NR - The Tar Heels own the 2nd best run differential and 4th best expected win percentage in the world. They are 1st in batting, below average in pitching, and above average in fielding. Run differential +86

4. Memphis Blue's (35-26) Prev #1 - Memphis has cooled off after an amazing start. They were 17-23 for the week, but still own the second best expected win percentage in the world. They are 8th in batting, 3rd in pitching, and above average in fielding. Run differential +79

5. Houston Hangovers (37-24) Prev #9 - Houston is tied with Dover and Cincy for the 2nd best record in the world. They are 9th in batting, 10th in pitching, and avover average in fielding. Run differential +61

6. Los Angeles Hollywoods (35-25) Prev NR - The Hollywoods were a second best 27-13 for the week and should continue to climb the rankings. They are below average in batting, 1st in pitching, and 3rd in fielding. Run differential +45

7. Helena Hustle (15-6) Prev #5 - Helena drops two spots after a very average 20-19 campaign. The do own the 5th best expected win percentage in the league, so maybe they will gain a couple of spots in the week ahead. They are a complete team: 7th in batting, 5th in pitching, and 10th in fielding. Run differential +63

8. Honolulu Tropics (40-20) Prev #7 - So how exactly does the team with the best record end up at #7? Well, they have been lucky. Over the past two weeks, the Tropics have gone 24-15, but have been outscored by 9 runs. Either thier luck will run out or they will start clobbering teams, not sure which one will be the case. Run differential +11

9. Jacksonville TIMUCUAN'S (35-25) Prev NR - Jacksonville had a very respectable 24-16 two weeks. They own the 10th best expected win percentage and run differential, as well as the 2nd best record in the AL. Run differential +31

10. Boston Tea Partiers (33-28) Prev #10 - Boston was 22-18 for the week and has started to show some of their old winning ways. They do own the 5th best run differential in the world so it would seem that they are due for a run. Run differential +67
