Significance of rankings in Batting, Pitching, Fielding

So how do the rankings in each category matter? Well, the answer is obvious, of course, but do some categories matter more than others? Let's look at the last 10 years of WS champions.

Season 24 Kansas City - B1,P1,F26 - 28 total
Season 23 Helena - B10, P7, F14 - 31 total
Season 22 Chicago - B16, P3, F9 - 28 total
Season 21 Helena - B4, P6, F21 - 31 total
Season 20 Montreal - B5, P4, F1 - 10 total
Season 19 Houston - B5, P2, F5 - 12 total
Season 18 Cincinnati - B2, P6, F11 - 19 total
Season 17 Cincinnati - B6, P5, F6 - 17 total
Season 16 Montreal - B2, P9, F17 - 28 total
Season 15 Durham - B1, P11, F4 - 16 total

Average Ranking
Batting - 5.2
Pitching - 5.4
Fielding - 11.4

Every World Series Champion in the last 10 seasons has been in the Top 10 in at least two of the three categories. Every World Series Champion in the last 10 seasons has been 11th or better in Pitching. Only one of the last 10 champs have been outside of the Top 10 in Batting.
